The search giant google has finally released competition to try and take over the social networking scene with google BUZZ! It is only available to gmail (google mail) users only! It has very many similarity to its rival service Twitter with the ability to “follow” people and to post updates on what you are doing.
You can also link your Flickr, Twitter and Picasa accounts so your updates your google buzz account! Google buzz certainly does have a buzz about it. Although google buzz is in its testing period it has been released to all gmail users. Could it take over twitter or even facebook? I personally do not think so but i am sure google will give it ago.
You can also use google buzz on your mobile! It has already entered into the mobile market. But has google finally figured out social media? So everyone is asking the question? Why has google buzz embraced so many users? Maybe its down to the fact that it was released to its 120 million google mail users. Google has already starting taking a chunk of users from its popular rival services.
Google buzz is an amazing service from google and if you haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for?
