Blogging

Oct 1

So, I used to use this way back when there was only me and Ryan using it. He’d be the only one reading my blogs so now we’ve picked up and i’m back and ready to start blogging again. In the past year i’ve gotten a job as a waitress, worked at the football ground, passed my gcse’s, almost passed my AS levels but we’ll come onto that later.

So Tuesday was the first day of term back at college and now i’m in my second year doing A2 in ICT, English and Sociology. I passed all of them with BCC but I got an E in AS Spanish and i’m debating whether or not to get that remarked. Oh crap, I have to go and ask my teacher about that “/

I swear I am never in college nowadays, so much free time! But it will come to use nearer the exams and stuff to help with revision! Did I mention I was ONE mark away from a D in Spanish and 2 marks away from a B in ICT? So gutted about that, really am.

So uhum, I don’t know what else to write. I’ve had a brilliant few months over summer, so much has happened! I can’t be bothered going into details really, just briefly saying my life is utterly brilliant at the moment. :D

I have a cut on my lip, i dont know where that came from but hey, its hurting and it’s annoying. Im waiting for the Jonas Brothers to announce their Europe tour dates, I hope they come to Manchester or nearer to my home. ;[ I love the Jonas Brothers, they are utterly amazing and so inspiring, I LOVE THEM. I want to go to Florida too to the Harry Potter world, it looks AMAZING.

Anyway, i’m gonna head off blogging now, i’ll be around when something cool happens! Have fun :D xxx

Eurovision 2009 – Spain – Espana!

May 17

Personally, I love the spanish and their music. I believe that it is so catchy and upbeat, which is what I really love in a song! People may say this song is boring, lame rubbish. But I think it was really good and upbeat!

However, it wasn’t the best song in the contest and fully deserves it place in the final results. I believe however it should have made at least the top 10 maybe. You could say different!

España fue bueno…

May 9

… seriously. Last week my teacher took twelve pupils (one being me) to Spain. We had to stay with Spanish families. My Spanish exchange was called Marta, she was lovely and everyone was so welcoming. I was really nervous when we arrived, everyone was stood outside this tiny Spanish school ready to welcome us. As we got off the coach the Spanish families all rushed over and kissed us. It’s weird because every time in Spain, when you meet a new person you have to kiss both cheeks. Its not nice when there is an ugly boy (: ! Anyway, I think its safe to say Spain was the most random experience I have ever had.

Day one- After we arrived I went off with Marta and her Mum to go and see her grandma, bearing in mind I can’t speak a word of Spanish I was very scared. We drove round a few tiny narrow streets then pulled up outside a tiny house on the corner. When I entered the house, about ten of her family members were just staring at me. Then they all said how beautiful I was and that I had a pretty face. Ha, I wish. We only stayed there for about three minutes and then we went back to Marta’s house. They showed me around the house, it was huge! Three stories, and they even had a room just for shoes! They left me in my room to unpack and she told me that when I was done to go downstairs. So, when I finished I did as I was told. She took me to this ice-cream parlour where we met everyone on the exchange. We sat for about five hours just discussing the houses! As I guessed there was already two groups, the English were sat around the fountain and the Spanish were sat at the tables. After the ice-cream we all went home for an “early night” midnight.

Day two- We woke up at about 7 and I went in the shower and got ready whilst she went downstairs to make breakfast. When I went down after my shower I was shocked. The table was full of food! And it wasn’t just ordinary food either, all doughnuts and cakes. So, I had a glass of orange juice and I tiny cupcake. We then started our trek to school, I’m lying, the school was only round the corner, it only seemed like a trek because of the heat and the silence. Then when we arrived we met all the people on the exchange and our English teachers asked us how we slept and what we had for breakfast etc. Unfortunately, all we did that day was spend time in the Spanish school. It was OK, I suppose. We went to a science class and joined in with an experiment, something to do with fish, as I said, I don’t speak Spanish ha. I cant really remember when I had for tea and everything that day. One thing I know, they eat loads!

Day three- Well, we woke up and got to school for about 9am. This was the morning all the teachers had a hangover, ha (: ! We started to walk to a Spanish whine cellar. We got a tour around the place and got to test some Spanish white whine, it was very nice (: Then we went back to our exchanges house for dinner, me and Marta went to her Grandma’s house for Paella, they told me how it is a tradition to eat paella on Wednesdays with the whole family. It was awkward because her whole family was there staring at me. When we were eating I had a one year old sat on my knee eating a clump of bread, she was so cute! After we had finished, me and Marta went off to Maria’s house to do some sunbathing. They randomly took me and my friend onto the roof where we laid for about three hours, got a nice tan (; After that me and Marta went back to her house to get ready for the night. We had a shower and more food, could of guessed the food would come in somewhere. At about 9pm we went out to go and watch some bull fighting! It was a really good experience, the Spanish boys were running about in a ring teasing bulls. Some people were saying they didn’t like it because they thought it was cruel to the bull, but it is Spanish tradition. After, we went home at about 3am and slept (:

Day four- I would say that this was the best day, we got up at 10 and took our time getting ready. Then we went to go and meet everyone on the exchange and our teachers at the fountain. We got onto a coach they had hired us for the day and went off to this huge shopping centre, and I mean huge! I bought all my presents for family and friends back in England and some clothes and earrings for myself. Then we all got back onto the coach and headed off to the beach. It was immaculate, the sand was so hot, but it was nice to walk on next to the sea, nice and warm. We had our dinner on the beach, sandwiches and water. Then we had the journey home and our night was the same as Wednesdays.

Day five- This was our last full day :( we stayed in school for the full day preparing for the parade on the night. All the English people were in the parade! We didn’t even know! The Spanish school gave all the girls pink football strips with matching white and pink socks, and they gave the boys the same but blue. We looked a mess ha. It was an excellent night though. We all got drunk and danced all night till 6am, I cant explain how good it was. All the Spanish were so kind to us and they were trying their hardest to make sure we enjoyed the night. When we finally got back to Marta’s house, at 7am, I didn’t see the point in going to sleep because we had to be at the school for 8 ready to go home.

That’s pretty much it, the best holiday and experience I have ever and will ever have. (:
